A mostly favourable avalanche situation will prevail. Fresh wind slabs require caution.

The no longer entirely fresh wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2200 m. Caution is to be exercised on near-ridge slopes, as well as in gullies and bowls.

As a consequence of the occasionally strong northeasterly wind, snow drift accumulations formed. These are lying on soft layers in particular on shady slopes above approximately 2200 m.

The tendency for Saturday 18 January 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
