Avalanche report for Tuesday 4 February 2025.
Old wind slabs require caution.
all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.
The avalanches can in isolated cases be released by large loads, caution is to be exercised in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes above the tree line. Mostly avalanches are small.
And now the snowpack:
The somewhat older wind slabs are in individual cases still prone to triggering in particular on shady slopes above the tree line. This applies in particular at high altitude.
The tendency for Wednesday 5 February 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
