Avalanche report for Thursday 13 February 2025.

Low avalanche danger will prevail.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

The avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads in isolated cases. Avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes at high altitude, caution is to be exercised in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Mostly avalanches are small.

And now the snowpack:

Some snow will fall. Faceted weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack especially on shady slopes. These can only be released in isolated cases. The snowpack will be moist at low and intermediate altitudes. At elevated altitudes snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.

The tendency for Friday 14 February 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
