A generally favourable avalanche situation will prevail.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

Fresh wind slabs are in isolated cases prone to triggering in particular on very steep north and east facing slopes at elevated altitudes. The avalanche prone locations are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. Fresh wind slabs are to be avoided in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling.

And now the snowpack:

As a consequence of wind from northwesterly directions, small wind slabs will form on Sunday adjacent to ridgelines. They will be deposited on soft layers on north and east facing slopes. Only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.

The tendency for Monday 17 February 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
