Update of the avalanche report for Tuesday 1 April 2025.

Low avalanche danger will prevail.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

Avalanches can in very isolated cases be released by a single winter sport participant. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes and at elevated altitudes. Mostly avalanches are small.

And now the snowpack:

The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will soften quickly. Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on steep shady slopes. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. Only a little snow is now lying.

The tendency for Wednesday 2 April 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
