Update of the avalanche report for Monday 14 April 2025.

Wet snow represents the main danger.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

all day, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects West to North to East.

As the penetration by moisture increases individual wet avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.

And now the snowpack:

Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be severely restricted. The surface of the snowpack will freeze very little and will already be soft in the early morning. The high humditiy will give rise to increasing and thorough wetting of the snowpack. Only a little snow is now lying.

The tendency for Tuesday 15 April 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
