Increase in danger of wet avalanches.

earlier in the day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one. later in the day it applies above 2800 meter low avalanche danger, so danger level one, below moderate avalanche danger, so danger level two.

later in the day, below 2800 meter, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects West to North to East.

From the early morning as the penetration by moisture increases there will be an increase in the danger of wet avalanches. Wet avalanches can in some places be released by a single winter sport participant. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on very steep west, north and east facing slopes below approximately 2800 m. Avalanches can release the saturated snowpack and reach medium size. Individual gliding avalanches can also occur, caution is to be exercised in particular on very steep grassy slopes in the regions with a lot of snow.

And now the snowpack:

The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will already soften in the late morning. Some rain will fall from the afternoon in some localities, especially in the north. The weather effects facilitated a substantial strengthening of the snow drift accumulations.

We have the following danger patterns: dp.10: springtime scenario.

The tendency for Tuesday 22 April 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
