Update of the avalanche report for Sunday 27 April 2025.
The danger of wet avalanches will increase during the day. Wind slabs in the high Alpine regions.
earlier in the day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.
later in the day it applies above 2600 meter low avalanche danger, so danger level one, below moderate avalanche danger, so danger level two.
earlier in the day, above 2600 meter, we have a wind slab problem. Especially in the aspects North-West to North to North-East.
Furthermore, later in the day, below 2600 meter, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects West to North to East.

As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of wet avalanches being released will increase. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on very steep west, north and east facing slopes below approximately 2600 m. In the afternoon the activity of wet avalanches will increase. In the event of rain this applies in particular. Mostly avalanches are only small.

The weather conditions fostered a stabilisation of the snow drift accumulations.
The tendency for Monday 28 April 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
