Avalanche forecast for Saturday 6 December 2025.

Wind slabs and gliding snow require caution. Thus far only a little snow is lying.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

The somewhat older wind slabs can be released in isolated cases on very steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. The avalanche prone locations are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The small wind slabs are to be avoided in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling. On steep grassy slopes individual gliding avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.

And now the snowpack:

5 cm of snow has fallen. The snowpack is largely stable. As a consequence of a light to moderate westerly wind, small wind slabs will form in isolated cases. Shady slopes: The older wind slabs of the last few days have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. They are now only very rarely prone to triggering.

We have the following danger patterns: dp.6: cold, loose snow and wind, dp.2: gliding snow.

The tendency for Sunday 7 December 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
