Fresh wind slabs as the day progresses.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

all day, above 2400 meter, we have a wind slab problem. Especially in the aspects North-West to North to South-East.

In the course of the day mostly small wind slabs will form. These can in some cases be released easily. The somewhat older wind slabs can be released in isolated cases on very steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. The avalanche prone locations are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The small wind slabs are to be avoided in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling. On steep grassy slopes individual gliding avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.

And now the snowpack:

Over a wide area 10 cm of snow has fallen. As a consequence of a moderate westerly wind, small wind slabs will form in the course of the day at elevated altitudes. These are lying on surface hoar in some places. Shady slopes: The old snowpack is largely stable. The older wind slabs of the last few days have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. They are now only very rarely prone to triggering.

The tendency for Sunday 7 December 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
