The fresh and older wind slabs can be released in isolated cases in particular on northwest to north to east facing aspects at elevated altitudes.
And now the snowpack:
Some snow will fall in the southeast. As a consequence of a sometimes strong wind from westerly directions, further wind slabs will form. The hard wind slabs are lying on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack in particular on shady slopes at elevated altitudes.
