Avalanche forecast for Friday 27 February 2026.

Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released in isolated cases. The danger of wet avalanches will increase during the day.

earlier in the day it applies above the treeline moderate avalanche danger, so danger level two, below low avalanche danger, so danger level one. later in the day it applies moderate avalanche danger, so danger level two.

earlier in the day, above the treeline, we have a persistent weak layer problem. Especially in the aspects West to North to East. Furthermore, earlier in the day, we have a wet snow problem. We have the following danger patterns: dp.1: deep persistent weak layer, dp.10: springtime scenario.

The tendency for Saturday 28 February 2026 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
