all day, above 2000 meter, we have a persistent weak layer problem. Especially in the aspects West to North to East.

Winter sport participants can release avalanches in isolated cases. These can reach large size in isolated cases. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2000 m. Caution is to be exercised in particular at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example.

Some snow will fall especially in the Allgäu Alps and in the Western Lechtal Alps. Above approximately 2000 m: Avalanche prone weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack on west, north and east facing slopes. Towards its surface, the snowpack consists of faceted crystals, especially on shady slopes. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Below approximately 2000 m: The snowpack will be moist.
