<avalancheActivity>
      <highlights>Weak layers in the upper part of the snowpack can be released in some places by people. Rapid increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches in the course of the day.</highlights>
      <comment>Avalanches can in some cases be released in near-surface layers and reach medium size. Avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on very steep west, north and northeast facing slopes between approximately 2200 and 2800 m. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found also on very steep sunny slopes in high Alpine regions. The avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise. Whumpfing sounds and the formation of shooting cracks when stepping on the snowpack can indicate the danger. Remotely triggered avalanches are possible in isolated cases. Avalanches can in very isolated cases penetrate near-ground layers of the snowpack and reach large size.

As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be an appreciable increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches. More frequent wet loose snow avalanches are to be expected, in particular medium-sized ones. This applies on extremely steep sunny slopes. Individual moist slab avalanches are possible, in particular medium-sized ones. This applies in particular on very steep west and east facing slopes in particular between approximately 2200 and 2800 m.
Backcountry tours should be concluded early.</comment>
    </avalancheActivity>
    <snowpackStructure>
      <comment>Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the top section of the old snowpack, especially on west, north and northeast facing slopes between approximately 2200 and 2800 m, and on sunny slopes in high Alpine regions. Towards its base, the snowpack consists of faceted crystals, in particular on west, north and east facing slopes at elevated altitudes.
The surface of the snowpack will soften quickly. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to gradual and thorough wetting of the snowpack.</comment>

      <highlights>Weakly bonded old snow requires caution. Increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches in the course of the day.</highlights>
      <comment>Winter sport participants can release avalanches only in isolated cases. They can be triggered in the old snowpack and reach medium size. Caution is to be exercised in particular on very steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m, and on south facing slopes in high Alpine regions. Especially transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack are unfavourable.
Avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain.

As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be a gradual increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches. More frequent wet loose snow avalanches are to be expected, but they will be mostly small. This applies on extremely steep sunny slopes. Backcountry tours should be concluded early.</comment>
    </avalancheActivity>
    <snowpackStructure>
      <comment>The gusty wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. Hard wind slabs formed. These are lying on top of a weakly bonded old snowpack in particular on west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m.

Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to significant moistening of the snowpack.

The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. In particular on steep sunny slopes at low and intermediate altitudes hardly any snow is lying.</comment>

      <highlights>Increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches in the course of the day. The avalanche prone locations are rare.</highlights>
      <comment>Avalanches can be released, in particular by large loads and reach medium size. This applies in particular on very steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. Especially transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack are unfavourable. The avalanche prone locations are rare.

In addition as the day progresses mostly small wet loose snow avalanches are to be expected. Caution is to be exercised in particular on extremely steep sunny slopes, and at the base of rock walls.

Backcountry tours should be concluded early.</comment>
    </avalancheActivity>
    <snowpackStructure>
