all day, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects North-West to North to North-East.

Only isolated wet avalanches are possible. This applies in particular during the course of the night. Caution is to be exercised on extremely steep shady slopes. In very isolated cases avalanches are medium-sized. In steep gullies they can reach areas without any snow cover. The runout zones are to be avoided.

And now the snowpack:

Northwest, north and northeast facing slopes: The rain gave rise to extreme and thorough wetting of the snowpack. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be barely evident. West and east facing slopes: Only a little snow is now lying. The snowpack will be wet all the way through.

The tendency for Thursday 16 April 2026 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
