Wet snow requires caution.

all day, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects North-West to North to North-East.

Only isolated wet avalanches are possible. Caution is to be exercised on extremely steep shady slopes. In very isolated cases avalanches are medium-sized. In steep gullies they can in very isolated cases reach areas without any snow cover. The runout zones are to be treated with caution.

And now the snowpack:

The snowpack will be wet all the way through over a wide area. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will soften quickly. On steep sunny slopes as well as below approximately 1800 m hardly any snow is lying.

The tendency for Friday 17 April 2026 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
