Update of the avalanche forecast for Tuesday 21 April 2026.

Wet snow requires caution.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

all day, above 2000 meter, we have a wet snow problem. Especially in the aspects North-West to North to North-East.

Only isolated wet avalanches are possible. Caution is to be exercised on extremely steep shady slopes. Mostly avalanches are rather small.

And now the snowpack:

The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften during the day.

The tendency for Wednesday 22 April 2026 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
