Avalanche report for Thursday 6 February 2025.

Low avalanche danger will prevail.

all day it applies low avalanche danger, so danger level one.

The avalanches can in isolated cases be released by large loads, caution is to be exercised in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes above the tree line. Mostly avalanches are small.

And now the snowpack:

The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on steep northwest to north to northeast facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface during the last few days, especially on steep sunny slopes. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day.

The tendency for Friday 7 February 2025 indicates a steady avalanche danger.

Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
