Avalanches can in very isolated cases be released in deeper layers, in particular by large additional loads. This applies especially on very steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 1900 m. In very isolated cases avalanches are medium-sized.

Some snow will fall in some regions. The gusty wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. Hard wind slabs formed. These are lying on top of a weakly bonded old snowpack in particular on west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 1900 m.

The tendency for Saturday 21 December 2024 indicates a steady avalanche danger.
