Update of the avalanche report for Tuesday 24 June 2025.
From starting zones that have retained some snow in particular at high altitude the wet avalanches can in very isolated cases reach a long way into the main valleys.
all day it applies moderate avalanche danger, so danger level two.
all day, we have a persistent weak layer problem. Especially in the aspects East to South-East to South.
Currently there are quite favourable conditions generally. Avalanches can still in isolated cases be released by large loads, but they will be small in most cases. This applies especially in extremely steep terrain, as well as at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example. Elsewhere, avalanches can in some cases be released.
And now the snowpack:
null
Have a nice day and don't forget to be careful!
