Dry avalanches: No distinct avalanche problem
Avalanche prone locations
In particular in northwest to north to east facing aspects above approximately 2000m.
Danger description
The near-surface layers of the snowpack can still be released in very isolated cases by people. These avalanche prone locations are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.
As a consequence of a strengthening southwesterly wind, small wind slabs will form in the course of the day in some places.
Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised as well in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.
Additional danger: Wet avalanches as day progresses
