In particular in west to north to east facing aspects above approximately 2000m.

Danger description

As a consequence of a strengthening southwesterly wind, sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs will form. These can be released easily in some places in particular on steep north facing slopes. Avalanches can reach medium size. Careful route selection is important.

Wet avalanches as day progresses

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation moist snow slides and avalanches are possible.
