Danger description

Avalanches can in isolated cases be released in near-surface layers.
In addition the sometimes new snow-covered wind slabs of last week are prone to triggering in isolated cases still. Mostly avalanches are medium-sized. In high Alpine regions the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent and the danger is slightly greater. Backcountry touring calls for careful route selection.

Wet avalanches as day progresses

Moist snow slides and avalanches are possible as the day progresses.
