In particular in west to north to east facing aspects above approximately 2400m.

Danger description

A generally favourable avalanche situation will prevail. Avalanches can in isolated cases be released in near-surface layers. These avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise.
Very steep slopes are to be traversed by snow sport participants one at a time. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

Wet avalanches as day progresses

Moist avalanches are possible as the day progresses.
