Danger description

Dry avalanches can in isolated cases be released in near-surface layers and reach medium size. The avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise. Very steep slopes are to be traversed by snow sport participants one at a time. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised as well in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.

Additional danger: Wet avalanches as day progresses
