Dry avalanches: No distinct avalanche problem
The small quantity of fresh snow and local small wind slabs are bonding quite well with the old snowpack. Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the top section of the snowpack. This applies in particular in areas where the snow cover is rather shallow. Dry avalanches can in isolated cases be released by people and reach medium size. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised in particular in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.
Additional danger: Wet avalanches as day progresses
