In particular in south to north to northeast facing aspects above approximately 2200m.

Danger description

20 to 40 cm of snow has fallen since Thursday. As a consequence of a moderate to strong northeasterly wind, further wind slabs will form in the course of the day. They are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Even single snow sport participants can release avalanches, including medium-sized ones.
Backcountry touring and other off-piste activities call for experience in the assessment of avalanche danger and careful route selection.

Wet avalanches as day progresses

Below approximately 2200 m small to medium-sized gliding avalanches are possible, in particular on very steep sunny slopes.
As a consequence of solar radiation moist snow slides are to be expected as the day progresses.
