Avalanche prone locations
In particular in northwest to north to southeast facing aspects above approximately 2400m.
Danger description
In particular at elevated altitudes mostly small wind slabs formed. They are in some cases prone to triggering. Mostly the avalanches are small. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised as well in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.
Gliding avalanches
Medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large gliding avalanches are possible. They can be released at any time of day or night. Caution is to be exercised in areas with glide cracks.
