Danger description

The somewhat older wind slabs can be released easily in some cases. They are mostly small. Careful route selection is recommended. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised in particular in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.

Wet avalanches as day progresses

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation wet snow slides and avalanches are possible.
