The fresh wind slabs can especially at their margins be released, even by a single winter sport participant. These places are difficult to recognise. <br/> Several medium-sized dry avalanches are possible as a consequence of the moderate westerly wind. <br/> In all aspects as well as in all altitude zones less snow than usual is lying. <br/> The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information."

As a consequence of the sometimes moderate westerly wind the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent as the day progresses. <br/> The wind slabs will form in particular adjacent to ridgelines and at high altitudes. These places are sometimes covered with new snow and are difficult to recognise. They can in some places be released by people. <br/> The conditions are unfavourable for ski touring. In all aspects as well as in all altitude zones less snow than usual is lying. The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information."
