There will be a strong breeze from the West backing to the South-West during the day. The freezing level will be around 600 metres.\nObserved Weather Influences: Heavy snow showers overnight and through the morning became lighter during the afternoon. Moderate winds were from the West. The freezing level was around 500 metres.\nObservedSnowStability: Significant deposits of soft unstable windslab has been deposited on mainly North through East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Fresh cornices above these aspects are unstable and prone to collapse. Below 900 metres there has been less drifting and the fresh snow is generally sitting on bare ground and so stability is better. The avalanche hazard is Considerable."

These isolated accumulations will be above 800 metres in wind sheltered locations. Gully tops and Coire rims being most affected. Small fresh cornices may also develop in these locations. Deposition is not expected to be significant. The older snowpack where found will remain stable and be firm and icy. \r\nThe avalanche hazard will be Low.",

"comment": "Forecast Weather Influences: There will be isolated light showers throughout the period, initially falling as snow below around 400 metres, then, during Thursday afternoon, only as snow to higher elevations as the freezing level rises. Overnight Strong North-Westerly Winds will ease to Moderate South-Westerlies during Thursday morning, then increase to Very Strong South South-Westerly by the end of the day. The freezing level will rise steadily from Thursday morning from initially 400 metres to around Summit level by dusk.\nObserved Weather Influences: A day of occasional squally showers, these being of snow and graupel down to 400 metres. Winds were Fresh North North-Westerly on the tops. Freezing level was well below summit levels, at around 500 metres.\nObservedSnowStability: A slight dusting of fresh snow and Graupel above 500 metres. No significant accumulations were observed. The older snowpack firming up in the colder temperatures and becoming hard and icy. Greatest patches of this older snow are found above 800 metres, on North through East to South-East aspects in the higher coires, and along summit ridgelines.\r\nThe avalanche hazard is Low."
