As a consequence of low temperatures, and the moderate to strong wind, the snow drift accumulations will increase in size. Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls dry slab avalanches are possible, even quite large ones. Avalanches can be released, even by a single winter sport participant or triggered naturally. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack on northwest, north and northeast facing slopes. Avalanches can be triggered in the old snowpack reach large size in particular on northwest, north and northeast facing slopes."
