"comment": "Forecast Weather Influences: Snow showers during the night on gale force West-South-Westerly winds. Dry conditions expected during the morning followed by snow fall during the afternoon on fresh increasing to gale force South-Easterly winds. The 500 metre freezing level will steadily rise to 900 metres by the end of the forecast period.\nObserved Weather Influences: A dry morning before the onset of snowfall on strong Westerly winds during the afternoon. The midday freezing level was around 900 metres.\nObservedSnowStability: Overnight there was a period of surface instabilities on steep North-Westerly to North-Easterly aspects above 1000 metres. Currently recent windslab accumulations are consolidating and have developed a friable surface crust; however, on these aspects above 950 metres snowpack weaknesses remain within deeper accumulations in areas of steep terrain. Through the afternoon, new windslab developed on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Moderate."

Greatest accumulations will be in sheltered gullies and on slopes with a mainly North-West through North to Easterly aspect mostly above 850 metres. Other aspects may be affected by cross loading. Fragile cornices will form in similar locations. Elsewhere the snowpack will generally remain stable, The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.",

Moderate to strong winds initially Westerly becoming all points Southerly. Precipitation all through the forecast period initially falling as snow mainly above 300 metres turning rain at lower levels as the freezing level climbs through the day.\nObserved Weather Influences: Last night the freezing level was above the summits with rain at all levels. In the early hours of the morning the freezing level fell and rain turned to snow showers mainly above 700 metres these fell on strong South-Westerly winds. This morning was general quite bright, dry with some sunny spells. Winds were moderate South-Westerly. The freezing level was around 900 metres. Precipitation started up again around midday falling as snow mostly above 800 metres.\nObservedSnowStability: New snow accumulations were not extensive and quickly consolidated. Lower overnight temperatures partly re-froze the older moist snowpack. which has a combination of a rain or melt freeze surface crust. Generally the snowpack is well bonded in most locations and elevations. The avalanche hazard is Low."
