From starting zones that have retained some snow on very steep shady slopes moist avalanches can in very isolated cases reach large size. The more recent wind slabs are to be found especially in the vicinity of peaks. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls in northwest to north to northeast facing aspects above approximately 2500 m. Transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are especially dangerous. <br/> Hardly any increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of the precipitation."
