This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes at high altitude, and in all aspects at intermediate altitudes. <br/> This situation gave rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2700 m. <br/> The amount of snow is subject to significant local variations. <br/> Especially on sunny slopes below the tree line no snow is lying. On shady slopes below the tree line hardly any snow is lying. <br/> Especially on the colder slopes above the treeline, in the valley basins and headlands that have been less affected by stormy winds in recent weeks, there is excellent snow cover. <br/> Weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. <br/>"
