Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found on extremely steep shady slopes, especially in little used terrain. Dry loose snow avalanches require caution. Extremely steep shady slopes are to be traversed by snow sport participants one at a time.
The danger of gliding avalanches and moist snow slides will increase a little during the day, in particular on steep sunny slopes.
dp.7: snow-poor zones in snow-rich surrounding
dp.10: springtime scenario
The snowpack will be stable over a wide area.
Shady slopes: The upper section of the snowpack is soft; its surface consists of loosely bonded snow.
Steep sunny slopes, below approximately 2600 m: The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day.
In particular in the south less snow than usual is lying.
Low avalanche danger will prevail. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of wet avalanches during the day being released will increase a little.
