Danger level

Some snow will fall on Thursday. The backcountry touring conditions are favourable.

High Alpine regions: In some localities increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of the snowfall.

Snowpack

Over a wide area 5 to 15 cm of snow will fall on Thursday above approximately 2000 m. The mostly small wind slabs are bonding well with the old snowpack.
Less snow than usual is lying.

Tendency

Over a wide area 10 to 30 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall on Friday. Gradual increase in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of new snow and wind.
