Fresh wind slabs require caution. Increase in danger of moist and wet snow slides in the course of the day.
The early morning will see quite favourable conditions generally. The more recent wind slabs of Monday can still be released in some cases on steep shady slopes at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas above approximately 2600 m.
As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet snow slides. Wet avalanches can in some places be released by a single winter sport participant and reach medium size. Caution is to be exercised on steep east, south and west facing slopes below approximately 2600 m, as well as in all aspects below approximately 2400 m. In addition individual gliding avalanches are possible, especially in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation on very steep grassy slopes.
Snowpack
dp.10: springtime scenario dp.6: cold, loose snow and wind
The fresh wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. The old snowpack will be stable over a wide area. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to softening of the snowpack.
Tendency
Wet and gliding avalanches are the main danger.

Avalanche Problem
Wet snow
Increase in danger of moist and wet snow slides in the course of the day.
The early morning will see quite favourable conditions generally. As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet snow slides. Wet avalanches can in some places be released, even by a single winter sport participant, but they will be small in most cases.
Snowpack
dp.10: springtime scenario
The snowpack will be generally stable. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to softening of the snowpack. From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
