Wind slabs represent the main danger. Wet and gliding snow require caution.

In some regions up to 15 cm of snow will fall. The fresh and older wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in particular on steep northeast, north and northwest facing slopes above approximately 2400 m. This applies especially adjacent to ridgelines. The number and size of avalanche prone locations will increase with altitude. Avalanches can in some cases reach medium size.

The weather effects will prevent a strengthening of the snowpack. Moist avalanches and snow slides are to be expected. Caution is to be exercised below approximately 2600 m.

As a consequence of the precipitation more frequent gliding avalanches are to be expected at any time, even large ones, especially below approximately 2600 m.

In particular in the south and in the east in some regions up to 15 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall. The sometimes moderate wind will transport the snow. The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs are lying on soft layers on steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m.
In isolated cases new snow and wind slabs are lying on a weakly bonded old snowpack.
The snowpack will be moist over a wide area. As a consequence of mild temperatures and high relative humidity the snowpack could not consolidate during the last two days. This applies in particular below approximately 2600 m.

Gliding snow requires caution.

On steep grassy slopes mostly small gliding avalanches are possible, in particular below approximately 2600 m.

The wind slabs are in some cases still prone to triggering on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m. Avalanches can in isolated cases be released by a single winter sport participant and reach medium size. Increase in danger of wet snow slides as a consequence of warming, in particular at low and intermediate altitudes on very steep slopes.

As a consequence of rising temperatures the snowpack can not consolidate during the night. This applies especially at low and intermediate altitudes.
