As a consequence of new snow and a moderate to strong southwesterly wind, sometimes easily released wind slabs formed in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. On steep shady slopes and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain individual slab avalanches are possible.
Snowpack
dp.6: cold, loose snow and wind dp.1: deep persistent weak layer
In particular in the west and in the south 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until Thursday. The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger. The snowpack will become in most cases subject to considerable local variations. Isolated avalanche prone weak layers exist in the snowpack.
Tendency
Saturday: The avalanche danger will persist.

The small wind slabs represent the main danger.
The soft wind slabs represent the main danger, especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Avalanches can in very isolated cases penetrate near-ground layers of the snowpack and reach medium size. The avalanche prone locations are sometimes covered with new snow and are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.
Snowpack
dp.6: cold, loose snow and wind
In particular in the south 5 to 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until midday. The fresh wind slabs are lying on unfavourable layers in particular on steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. Steep sunny slopes: As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface during the last few days. Snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.

Saturday: The avalanche danger will persist.

Low avalanche danger will prevail.
Some snow will fall until midday. The avalanche prone locations are sometimes covered with new snow and are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility. Wind slabs are mostly small but to be assessed critically. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found on extremely steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes, in particular in gullies and bowls. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.
Snowpack
In particular in the south 5 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until midday. Only a little snow is now lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals.
